My journey began in 1975 at the Fred Astaire School of Dance, where I spent years mastering the intricate footwork, spins, and turns that first inspired me to step onto the floor. Today, I bring that lifetime of experience to Bonfoey Dance Studio, specializing in the styles and dances my students enjoy most.
Whether you are looking to master the Progressive Two Step, the Rhythm Two Step, or dive into the high-energy of Jitterbug or West Coast Swing, I am here to help you find the dance you
enjoy best.
I understand that learning new moves can feel daunting, which is why I bring a patient, positive attitude to every dance lesson. From the elegance of the Waltz to the social fun of Country Western dancing, I focus on making the learning process as fun and exciting as the dance itself.
My goal is to ensure that every student, whether leading or following, leaves the studio feeling confident, encouraged, and ready for the dance floor.

Instructional Excellence
Professionally trained in 11 dances: Two Step, West Coast Swing, Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, ChaCha, Rumba, Salsa, Samba, Merengue, and Jitterbug,
I served as a dance instructor at Pima Community College for 18 years and led weekend classes at The Maverick from 2010 through 2020.
My experience spans from Tucson City Parks and Recreation to private weddings, resorts, and local clubs.

I focus on the mechanics of how to lead and follow effortlessly.
